What to Do
Brooklyn, our home borough:
- Visit the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park, where you can ice skate or rent bikes or a surrey, and on your way from the museum to the park, visit the Prospect Park Zoo!
- Get delicious donuts at Dough
- something else because lists are always in threes
Manhattan, where Julia was raised and where the wedding will be:
- Take a stroll on the High Line in Chelsea, and visit the new Whitney Museum
- Have high tea and scones with clotted cream at Tea & Sympathy and then walk to the Rubin Museum to see Himalayan Art and Buddhist ritual objects
- Shop at the best comic book store ever, Forbidden Planet, and get a stellar banh mi sandwich at Num Pang and eat it in Union Square park (where we had our first kiss)
- Grab a souvenir mug/bowl/dishtowel at Fishs Eddy
- Central Park Zoo! (where we had our third date)
